Wind Japanese & Thai - Buffalo: A Culinary Journey Awaits

First time at Wind and it did not disappoint. The food was great and the serving robot was cute and polite. Our human server Lee was awesome, especially when double checking our selections for our food allergies. Barely made a dent on the menu with the all you can eat, so definately coming back soon.

My boyfriend and I had reservations for his birthday. It was both our first time visiting. Overall we were very pleased. The robots are not the primary contacts they simply help bring food faster. We both had all you can eat dinner. All of the ordering is done on a tablet which is registered to your table. Most things come with 1pc except the rolls. The kitchen was a little backed up when we got there so we were advised to order in batches and ahead so that we would get food coming without long waits. Our only complaint is that the food does not always come out in the same order they were placed. We also really wished that there was a way to see what food has been ordered vs still being prepared. Things come out sometimes one at a time even if it was ordered in a batch so it’s very easy to loose track of what you’ve ordered. The sushi was excellent quality and there was a good variety of selections. We only ordered sushi and for the price it is highly worth it!! I made reservations a little over a month in advance. I did check the scheduler a day prior and there were still dinner reservations available so you do not have to make reservations in advance. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was spacious enough that you didn’t feel cramped or intruding on others conversations. The lighting was wonderful and made it a very intimate experience. We loved the restaurant and will go again!

I really enjoyed my time here. Lunch prices were reasonable. Dinner was a little pricey. Staff were very nice and friendly. Food was very good and came out quickly. I loooooooooved my virgin frozen margarita!! Atmosphere is great. Overall a great experience. I would Just ask they they remind people Of the “food waste” charge upfront or leave a sign on the table or something

OMG! What good food! We had an amazing experience at this Japanese restaurant with their unlimited buffet-style dining. The service was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. One highlight was the adorable robot that brought food to the table; the kids loved petting it and watching it zoom around! But the real star was the food. Unlike most places that offer only one or two vegetarian sushi rolls, this spot had an impressive variety, each one more delicious than the last. We'll definitely be back!

Another amazing meal at Wind tonight! That crunch dragon roll is my favorite sushi item of all time! Amazing! All sushi /sashimi are fresh and delicious. Drinks were great. Loved the mango salad and the creme brûlée! You cannot go wrong with the all you can eat. Beautiful ambience , great service, and phenomenal food. Come here!

This place is amazing. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. This place has everything you'd want in an all you can eat establishment. The only restaurant I know of in the area where the food runner is a robot. Pretty sweet. Beware: if you do not finish your food there will be a charge or if you want to bring food home with you they will charge you for the box. This place is 5 out of 5 stars

It was our first time visiting Wind. My GF and I enjoyed the experience. The robots delivering food was very cool. The food was hit and miss but that's based on our limited exposure to Japanese/Thai food. The desserts were on point, along with the sushi but some of the dishes as good as other places. For example, I ordered crab Rangoon and it was just ok. I have had much better at other places The staff was very friendly and attentive. The cost was what you would expect to pay at a nice restaurant. The menu was very high-tech and made ordering food very easy. If you are looking for a unique dining experience, I recommend you give Wind a try.

I was visiting the area after coming across the border from Canada for a quick day trip with my mother to take care of some business. Found this restaurant by sheer coincidence. Its was like hitting the jack pot with this restaurant, as it combined my #1 and #3 cuisine Japanese and Thai respectively. I ordered the Thai red curry. The spice was mild so it was manageable. The atmosphere and background music were on point. Lots of seating including large booths for seating 6 to 8 guests. Perfect for hosting group events. The server told me that in the past they have hosted events with 20+ guests. He also stated that on Easter Monday 2025 they server about 500 guests. I would definitely recommend this spot.
